This Privacy Policy explains how Shopping Card (the “App”) is operated by Andy Aziri ("we", "us") and how we collect, use, and share information when you use the App.

What we collect

• Account information: if you sign in, we process identifiers needed for authentication and account management (for example, a user ID and login details provided by Apple/Google/email login, depending on what you use).
• Content you create: groups, list names, list items, category ordering, and other content you enter or share through the App.
• Profile data (optional): if you add a display name or avatar/photo, we store it so it appears across your devices and for group members where applicable.
• Invites and links: when you create or use an invite link, we process the invite identifier and related metadata (such as the group it relates to) to allow people to join your group.
• Camera / barcode scanning (optional): if you choose to scan a barcode, the App uses your device camera. We do not need to store your camera feed. Any barcode value you scan is used to look up or create an item.
• Purchases and subscriptions (optional): if you purchase Premium features, the App processes purchase and subscription status to unlock features.
• Device and usage data: we (and our service providers) may process technical information such as device identifiers, IP address, app version, and diagnostic logs to keep the App reliable and secure.

How we use information

• Provide core functionality (create groups, sync lists, share invite links, join groups).
• Operate and maintain the App (troubleshooting, performance, and reliability).
• Secure the service and prevent abuse/fraud.
• Process purchases/subscriptions and verify entitlements (Premium access).
• Communicate with you for support and important service notices.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the App—for example with service providers that power authentication, data storage, and subscription management. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

• Google Firebase: authentication, database/storage, and backend functions used to run the App.
• RevenueCat: subscription status/entitlements for Premium features.
• Apple: App Store purchases and subscription processing.

Data retention

We keep your account data and content for as long as needed to provide the service, including while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data (see “Your choices & rights”).

Your choices & rights

• Access/Update: you can update some information in the App (e.g., profile name/photo).
• Delete: you can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at the email below. (If the App provides an in-app delete option in Profile/Settings, you can use that as well.)
• Device permissions: you can control camera permission in your device settings.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
